i feel like i am much more aware of what is going on around me and i'm trying very hard to show those around me how i feel, instead of assuming they already know.  i'm making progress.  it is so tempting to just put myself into a hole and ignore everything to just focus on feeling better, but ultimately other aspects of my life suffer for it.  i'm working on a nice balance and paying attention.  it's alright. :)
