About Me
I am from New Orleans La.Been living in Georgia since katrina in o5""!!!!!!!~~ Looking for new friends to uplift me, and that I can hopefully do the same to.. I am 47..single(by choice), and I have i child(grown).. Very opened minded, and working hard on changing my "mind set", and be POSITIVE !!~ Tired of living on the past..It's JUST that, the past...!!!~ And theres NO future in the past..!! (right?)

Type: HurricanesI am a survivor of KATRINA!! It was 3 days before I was rescued.! My room mate/ long time friend drown in my face.. It defiently brough on a whole meaning of the word DEVASTION to me.!.! I relocated from New Orleans to around Atlanta.. Saw this site,and was wondering if theres anyone else that has nightmares and have anxiety attacks after TRAUMA.. thx for reading my story..I am fairly new to DS,but it seems to be a WONDERFUL place to meet new friends....

- Well let me start off by saying, I rode out many hurricanes in my life being from South Louisiana. When I along with many many more decided this is THE BIG ONE, It was too late to get out.!.! It was the most HORRIFIC thing I have ever saw..I was onr of the ones that wasnt rescued 3 days after THE STORM.!.! I lived in a rental home lost EVERYTHING I had.. No small kids(thank the Lord.!) However I lost a real close friend right in my face..And had to be near bodies for days..
