It's been a rough couple days and I haven't been on. But I had 46 new emails from DS! Good Lord!
The day after Christmas I had to come back to work. When I got home that evening, DH was already gone to work (we work opposite shifts) and as soon as I opened my garage, smoke started rolling out! I know I sat there in my car stunned. SO I jumped out and ran in my house to see what was happening. Well it was soo smoky I couldn't see or breathe, and I knew at least for the baby's sake to get out. SO I did, and I called my mom because I didn't know what to do. I was panicking I guess. Well my mom told me to stay out of the house. Luckily DH's parents live 3 doors down and DH's dad was just getting home so I yelled and he came running. He went in and couldn't see anything. Neither of us saw any flames, and thought that it could possibly be our wood stove smoking so bad. So he went in and opened all the doors and windows and once it cleared out some, he opened the wood stove. The inside was on fire, not just hte wood. He got it out. But now we have no source of heat, because we're scared to lite a fire, until we figure out wahts going on. It was sooo scary. I called the gas company to come hook it up so we could just use gas for now. They can't come til Monday. So we are without heat! I explained to them that we have NO heat and I'm pregnant, but they didn't seem to care. Plus I had to pay the gas company a $400 security deposit since we've never had gas service. uuugh.
DH's parents went and got us some electric heaters and blankets. So we've managed not to freeze. But it was sooo scary. I thought my house was burning down!
That night after we got everythign cleared out and we could go home, I started spotting a little. I figured it was from the stress maybe. I've been lightly spotting ever since. So last night after work I just relaxed, and I've been taking it kinda easy today. This is about the time of month I'd ahve my period, and I've read some women spot around the time each month they've should of have my period.
Have an u/s scheduled for New Years Eve at 10am.
Well gotta get back to work!

OMG! I think I woud of freaked out! Thank goodness your house didn't burn down or anything! Try to stay warm and my prayers are with you! Let us know how the u/s goes :)

I am sorry to hear about the fire. My Dh and I had a fire about 3 years ago. Hope all is ok with the baby.

I am so glad you are okay and your house is still standing. How scared you must have been. As for the spotting..I spotted with all 4 of my children. Just one of those things. Try not to let that worry you.

How horrible! I feel for you, I would have panic too. I'm lucky like you and have famliy around so thats a plus. Just take it easy God bless :)
