I just started a new group called Weight Control Warriors. I decided to start it because I am seeing that others besides myself crave support for dieting purposes. I really need to be serious about dieting. I have so far in my diet journey lost over 125 pounds. I still have a long way to go. I am not happy at the weight I am at. I hope to get my weight to a healthy range for me. (Between 140 to 150 pounds.) I last weighed that in my mid twenties, and was super healthy, and had no serious arthritic pain at that weight. I long for those days again.
Today I vow to stick to my diet. Today I vow to stick to my exercise plan. I only pray that I can keep these vows on a daily basis.

I totally understand where you're coming from with diet issues as I have been doing this all my life. I am not fat on my body anymore but I have lots of issues in mt mind still not resolved. I know of ways of dieting and exercising and "getting there" in a healthy and balanced way and I have a degree in Health, Fitness & Physical Education. So if you want a bit of help I'll be here for you ok? Keep it up!

I so agree I do not care for my weight, as of last March I've lost about 52 lbs. At present I'm at a stand still..My exercise program at our local YMCA has been a God send for me do to arthritis pain, and sciatic nerve pain, I did take low impact water aerobic arthritis class three days a week. As of last Friday I no longer can go do to taking care of my 6 mos old great grandson. I'm depressed over this and have started eating things I should not because of diabetes. I just can not get enough to eat. I do need to fine other ways to exercise at home that will not hurt my knees both of my knees have been replaced and I'm limit to certain exercise and stretching. This new group would be something I would be very interested in. Thanks for the invitation...
