I am 57 years old. I was dxed with Osteoporosis 2 or 3 years ago. I have been on several treatments now.  But with no successful outcome.   I started on Fosamax which I could not tolerate. Then went to Boniva oral, which again could not tolerate. Then tried for almost a year a 2 hour Boniva infusion by IV, which again I could not tolerate. So we went to a Boniva injection every three months.  First two treatments was ok, but last week had the injection and immediately had pain in every joint in my body from head to toe, even my face ached.   That has lasted, though somewhat diminished in intensity, until yesterday when I got sick and ended up in an ER thinking at first I was having a heart attack.  But it turned out to be bowel related.   Again, attributed to the Boniva medication. Whoever you are out there, be very careful with using the Boniva.
