      87 year old Mom just diagnosed post stroke - went from totally independent to unable to read, walk, carry on a conversation within 4 weeks.

      Treatments

      Aricept Not Working
      Caused tearful outbursts, nightmares.
      Razadyne Not Working
      More nightmares, tears, anxiety

      Mom had a stroke that brought to light the fact that she had vascular dementia too. I have her at home with me, taking one day at a time.

      Aggrenox Not Working
      Too hard on her stomach.
      Aspirin Not Working
      She had been taking an aspiring a day prior to the stroke.
