      My 9 yr old son has been fitting for 2 yrs.The docs have used terms like landau kleffner and benign rolandic with spikes.He has speech problems as a result of the epilepsy .Steroids prednisolone and epilim 500 helped his speech for a while until the steroids stopped. He is now on epilm 500 prednisolone and zonegram(zonisamide)and his voice has gone completely.This occured as soon as he took the zonegram.personality change has also taken place.Can anyone help or advise..thank you

      Clobazam Not Working
      did not work..gave luke bad stomach
      Keppra Not Working
      serious bahavior issues. still no sign of his speach returning.
      Prednisone Somewhat Helpful
      worked well for a little while. his second course had no effect . now taken off them
      Zonegran Not Working
      dreadfull experience with my son on this drug.loss of speach and understanding withinn 12 hrs of starting it..he has been off it for 2 weeks and still no sign of improvement
