I'm 64, happily married for 43 years with 7 kids & 21 grandkids. Like most we have some problems, I have parkinsons, my husband was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer, with 6 months to a year to live, it's been one year. He's retired but keeps busy at home, while I work. (though I'd rather be home with him.) Life is wonderful and constantly full of surprises, some bad, some good. We make the best of it, give thanks for all we have, and don't dwell on the negative. With all its struggles life is grand, enjoy it.
Spending time with my family. Crocheting, working in the yard, organizing pictures, sewing gifts for grandkids. I enjoy trying many things but not proficient in any. Love playing games.

I have had parkinsons for 7 years +. My Mother had parkinsons before passing away and my sister and cousin on my mothers side have it. Is it hereditary? I am now in the process of finding out if I am in the small percentage with hereditary parkinsons.
My husband was diagnosed with stage 4 mesothelioma Nov 2006. He has kept a positive additude and his sense of humor helping his family cope. We feel very blessed that he is doing as well as he is.
