Well its complicated as Im actually here for my 3 year old daughter Emma~Lou who was born with a blood disorder named Hereditary Spherocitosis (try saying it after a few pints ya sound hilarious! lol)I will type more soon!

Close Anemia
Type: Folic Acid DeficiencyHi im Shaz im here for my 3 yr old Emma she was born with HEREDITARY SPHEROCITOSIS which is the cause of her anemia causing her spleen to not function properly and her red blood cells breakdown so fast they cause her haemoglobin levels to be constantly low she requires red blood cell infusions and has frequent blood checks she is jaundiced and very pale they say they will remove her spleen when she is about 5 then as this is a cure but she will then be on penecillin everyday for life.
Treatments
- Folic Acid Not Working
- Most children with this condition grow out of it by the time they are around 3 mnths old but emma looks like she has it for life folic acid i think helps keep it kinda steady giving her the vitamin she does not get in foods
Close Spina Bifida
Hi im Shaz im here not for myself but for my husband Paul he is 33 and was born with Spina Bifida he had his spine pinned when he was 14 he has one leg longer than the other and the same with his feet he walks hunched over slightly but he works very hard and when he complains of back ache i worry sick he is one of these guys who never moans about anything he just carries on reguardless so obviously he would never come on a site like this LOL i constantly stress about him secretly!
Open Eczema
Hi Im Shaz I was diagnosed with eczema when i was a young teenager its never been severe and controlled with the usual bath oils and creams and sometimes anti-hystermine but over the last few years my face gets extremely sore and dry on my lips and around my eyes especially it seems to be a reaction to certain UV sun rays... is this possible?

- Hydrocortisone Somewhat Helpful
- Oilatum Not Working
- This makes me itch i have always used Alpha Keri in the bath but now I cant seem to get it anywhere without any explanation.
