About Me
I have been divorced for a year and a half now. I have come to terms with the end of the marriage. My ex is still seeing the OW and I am preparing myself for a possible marriage. I'm trying to get to the point where it doesn't matter to me anymore. Although I realize our relationship was never great and I deserve better it is hard when your ex can be the cause of so much pain and destruction and walk away carefree.
Interests
I like working on my home, raising my son and going out with my friends.

Close Breakups & Divorce
I have been divorced for 3 months now. I have every other week custody of my three year old son. I am struggling with this due to the fact that my ex is disrespectful and dishonest. I've discovered that he has a girlfriend, which I am convinced he met before we broke up, and he is now introducing my son to her. I have having a VERY difficult time with the fact that I don't know where and what my son is doing in his care.
Treatments
- Couples Counseling Not Working
- Our counselor sucked. He just let hurl insults at one another.
- Psychotherapy Working / Worked
- My therapist is helpful somewhat. Sometimes I think I just want a quick fix.
- Support from Friends & Family Working / Worked
- Without my friends and family I would be lost.
- Time Working / Worked
- It's been a few months and I'm not as devastated as before.
Close Child Support & Custody
I have a 50/50 joint custody arrangement. i'm having a hard time with it because my x seems more interested in his life than his sons.
Open Diets & Weight Maintenance
I have struggled with my weight since college. Instead of gaining the college 15 I gained 30. I have done Jenny Craig and weight watcher's. These programs have helped me to eat healthy however, I am plagued by my emotional eating. I just recetly got a divorce. I quickly lost ten pounds due to stress but lately I have been out of control.
Treatments
- Weight Watchers Working / Worked
- Has worked but the emphasis on points doesn't help me eat from all the food groups. Too many WW products on the market allow me to eat junk.
Open Infidelity
My ex met another woman when he was away training for a new job. He hid the affair and we quickly divorced. We have a three year old son whom we share every other week custody with.

- He just went through the motions so he could feel good about leaving.
Open Asthma
Type: Childhood AsthmaMy son was diagnosed with Asthma when he was 16 months old. He has food allergies and is allergic to cats and dogs.

Open Hives
My son, Aidan, has suffered with allergies since he was 6 months old. He had severe baby ecezema and numerous ear infections. When he had to have tubes at 16 months old we were finally referred to an allergist. He allergic to dogs, cats, eggs, mustard and peanuts.
Treatments
- Avoid Certain Foods / Chemicals Working / Worked
- We avoid peanuts, eggs and peanuts but he still will occasionally break out in severe hives.
- Benadryl Working / Worked
- I give it to him when he has the hives. It isn't an instant cure so that is hard for a three year old to deal with.
