Finding a place to live Mood
Friday, March 14, 2008 | A Positive story

March 14, 2008 12:00 am

I know.  Weird time for goal setting but I'm just home from work and I've made some progress on thoughts AND actions towards a positive future.

1. I have an appointment to view the property I truly would love to rent. It is perfect for me and all my animals but quite expensive. Still, I have a plan to make an offer that owners may quite likely accept.

2. IF I get that house, I will THEN concentrate on a getting a career befitting my intelligence. Not trying to be arrogant here but seriously, you don't have to be a genious to do my job. It is NOT challenging and I can do better.

3. I plan to stop the dating revolving door and get back to concentrating on me and my inner development, spiritually, emotionally, physically and finacially (that is, I will hopefully do this with a little help from my friends... especially one DS friend)

4.  I will give myself 6 months to do everything positive I can to make KC my true home.  If after a truly honest effort, I find that I am still adrift here; I will NOT purchase a property until I make a concrete decision about living in the sun-belt or here with family.

Those sound like very reasonable goals. I do think that the "revolving door" was necessary...like reving an engine to blow the bugs out. ;-) You just HAD to. Now you can smile and move on.

You will make your life where YOU are Comfortable. Sometimes even Family isn't going to make the surroundings fit. Or, the surroundings won't make up for Family. It will depend on who You are.

I know that you will get this all straight. You know you.
