Jumped on the scale last week and I was down to 174 lbs. Might have been partly the fact that I was sick, but I'll take it!! lol
I will be keeping your husband in my prayers. Love, Teresa
Wonderful for you meeting your goal on your weight!

Keep up the good work, I have been trying to do the same thing, I only lost 16 lbs in about 2 1-2 months, I use to be able to do that in 2 weeks, it gets harder the older you get, I still have about 20 - 30 lbs to go. I found that the most important thing was excersise. Keep going, Joanne
I am the wife of a stroke victim, and I am tyring to deal with it as well as help my husband deal with it. He had a brain-stem stroke and is very lucky to be alive. We just got married in Feb this year, so it's been challenging. I hope to learn from others how to help him as well as the family and friends we have.
Wow never expected a community for this but I'll join. ;-) Wife of a stroke victim here, and there's not a sex life as of lately hoping it comes back for us both.
My husband is currently 46, fighting his Arterioclerosis in his Carotid arteries in the back of his head. They don't know why it started but I am finding out why fast! Trying to prolong his life, because he's already had one stroke, and they don't expect to be able to do anything but a bypass or maybe move some arteries to feed his brain. He's got short term memory loss, balance issues, right side weakness and much more. For now I am just looking to find all the information I can find to help!
I contracted Polio when I was a baby. I have walked on crutches my whole life, and had surgeries when I was young. It effected my legs and waist, sometimes I notice my immune isn't the best either. For the Most part, I accepted it and am glad it happened to me. Otherwise I wouldn't be who I am today without the challenges it gave me.
My father has Prostrate Cancer, they are doing surgery next month on the 5th of Feb. I am here to read and learn to see what is expected.
My husband suffers from a stroke and at times can't speak or process his thoughts into words. I am joining to help others and ourselves.
My mother suffers from Type II, and looking in here to read or learn information. Mostly to educate myself and understand the disease.
My cousin is in Iraq! I am sure it's not easy for him or his Mom. They just recently lost his Dad to health issues, so I am here to give support! I love those guys that go out and fight for us, and defend our country! As I am not able and never have been! So I thank All of you for your dedication to our country's FREEDOM!
I have a family history of High Blood Pressure and trying to loose some weight to help!
