It's been a tough week across the globe. Share your thoughts in our new 2008 Financial Crisis support group.
So my husband and I sat and figured this out. Without the neurosurgeon and anesthesiology bills even here yet-----
For the next several months add together what we are still paying on all the tests I had done end of last year to see if I was a surgical candidate, the surgereries themselves, and the meds I am on every month---every month that addds up to more then our rent.
Wow.
When we moved here we thought I wouldnt have to go back to work if I got better. If I get released formt he Dr. I will lose my long ter disabily benefits. Mind you this isnt SSDI--its private. I have been collecting 60% of my previous salary--not a smal amount. And with all this addign up to more then our rent--not workign won't be an optin if I get my physical stregth and stamina back.
Mind you I wont complain aobut being better!!!! But to have to go back to workt o pay medical bills! That just sucks!
