I know Dr. Morree is suppost to be the best and all but when I called him about my pain he was so rude and acted like I was wasting his time. To me a Dr. should listen and consoul and give advice or alteratives. NOt treat you like a 2 year old kid. Exspecially an oncologist!!!. I don't think I want to see him any more. I am going to ask my OB to either keep me and do what he was going to do or refer me to another oncologist. Because in my eyes he was wrong to talk to me the way he did.

You really need another oncologist. I went to a gyn oncologist who was the best here and I hated her. I'll never go to her again. There has to be another somewhere, even if you have to drive a little.
It really makes such a difference when you like your doctor and he (or she) likes you. My hematology oncologist is such a sweetie pie. We have a great relationship and I know he really cares about me. It makes all the difference in the world. Please, please, find another doctor!

that stinks... I'm sorry you are going through such a hard time. I would suggest trying to stick it out with him if he is the best around... he had no right to treat you like that but he is probably stressed as most dr.'s are and maybe he was having a bad day and didn't realize he was being so rude. He already knows your case and finding a new dr. to get to know your medical history is a pain sometimes. Just think of him as your rude dr. and maybe even mention nicely to him that a patient coming to see him is probably very sensitive emotionally when they come to see him to begin with and a more friendly tone would probably help. He's not a friend he's a dr. right? If you give him another chance and still feel uncomfortable I would mention to your dr. you want someone else. I hope things go more your way soon. HUGS

I have schedule a second opion with another oncologist at a different hospital for this month. I need a doctor who is going to care about me before I am old and dying of cancer. Which seems to be Dr. Moore's attitude If I am not dying then I am not important to him. I have the 2nd oopinion scheduled for the 20th. I already have three spots that have come back!! God, give me a break! PLease!!
