      Oh, Amanda! How horrible for you. I'm so sorry. Do they know why this is happening? I hope all goes well for you. I think of you often. My surgery is delayed for now.     • Close Vulvar Cancer

      I found out I was positvie one month ago after some byopies. I go see my first cancer doctor on Oct. 15th.

      I have three kids a 6 year old a 4 year old and a 4 month old. My 4 year old daughter is very hard to deal with. attitude problems big time and she does not listen to any thing anyone says.

      Treatments

      Child Time-out Not Working
      she will not stay in time out at all.
      Patience Somewhat Helpful
      I have tried sitting down and calmly explaining why she can't do something and that I am not trying to be mean I am just really worried she would get hurt and I do not want to lose her.
      Play Therapy Working / Worked
      Every two weeks we go to a therapist where she does play therapy with sand and toys it seems to help because she hears the same thing from another adult and I get great ideas on how to try new things. Most insurances will cover it!!!!
      Positive Reinforcement Somewhat Helpful
      I have a dry erase board and we write thing things down that she does wrong and every day that she doesn't do it she gets a sticker when it is all filled up she gets to pick something she really wants to do ( like last time she did it she got to go to build a bear work shop) It did take she a month and a half to fill the board but the reminder was good for her.and it still is working.
