She was a grade-school teacher who drank like a fish. Caught her one morning hiding a vodka bottle before driving 14 miles to teach all day, told her either she quit or I was gone. She didn't quit. I was gone. That was 13 years ago. We've been separated ever since, just got divorced. I have no other family, no help and no support structure.
