    • Close Endometriosis

Diagnosed since age 19 - have tried several treatments over the years but nothing has stopped it's progression. 2 months ago I had the mirena coil fitted; since then I have experienced the worst pain and constant bleeding for a long time, I also have fibroids which were discovered at the time of the insertion of the coil. My womb is also retroverted just to add insult to injury! I'm really hoping this coil does start to work soon.

      Treatments

      Danazol Working / Worked
At age 19 -21 increased low mood and some weight gain.
      Mirena Too Soon to Tell
Increased pain and constant bleeding 2 months post insertion
      Surgery Somewhat Helpful
Laser ablation - helped for a short time combined with zoladex
      Zoladex Somewhat Helpful
A/A also had a course last year - seemed to reduce symptoms of bleeding but only for a 3 month period
