Close Depression
Type: Clinical (Major) DepressionLaid off 8 1/2 yr job 1/07 (2nd time-prev laid off 10 1/2 yr job). Have battled depression for 15+ yrs but not many know I do. Having trouble finding quality professional employment due to incident in 2004. Trying to stay positive and keep the faith. Single, never married, parents deceased, really tired of fighting this demon. Only here because after losing our parents within 4 1/2 mths of each other, I could never hurt my brother by taking my own life or abandon my 3 rescued misfit cats.

- Have been to many different counselors over the course of 18 yrs. Somewhat helpful but still repeating patterns and still battling major depression & don't want to be alive 90% of the time.

- Zoloft Not Working
- took a long time ago. Didn't like side effects & still had depression
Close Sexual Abuse
Molested by great grandfather at 5. Date Rape by co-worker/so-called friend @ 27. Time, therapy, prayer, forgiveness, letting go, etc. all very instrumental in the healing process. Also protecting others or supporting others and helping them understand it was not our fault.

Open Career Changes
Was in Mortgage Industry 19 yrs. Changed fields but remain in sales. Just started new job 4/1. Hanging strong & taking it one day at a time and saying lots of prayers!
