Well I am still smoke free. I am not nicotine free yet...addicted to gum and lozenges. I am not even sure of my last cigarette date. I was smoking one or two a day for a couple months. So I can't really celebrate a timeline of my smoke quit. I think sometime in late March or April. I actually lost 5 pounds when I went back but haven't gained back on this gum. I think the nicotine is still supressing my appetite some. Or the gum chewing maybe.
I am thinking about going on a kayak trip this weekend. It's a group of people who get together and go to different places around the Tampa Bay area. I won't know any of them which is hard because I am a little on the shy side but it sounds like so much fun. I haven't been back to habitat for humanity. It seems to be all retired men. I don't have any construction skills so I am not really needed most of the time. (There are more than enough of the retired men to do the work!)
I will rent a kayak at first. I was going to buy one until I saw how many different kinds there were! It's nice to live in a country of so many choices but sometime it makes it hard to make a decision!
Thanks again to all the DS friends who have been here for me. :)
