I live in Ohio, married for 15 years, we have 4 great kids, hubby was diagnosed with M.S. in 2000, I had a quesionable M.S. diagnosis in 2002, and finally after more neuro problems surfaced in August 2007, I got my official diagnosis by December 2007. Hubby and I met on a blind date 19 years ago, and now we both have MS. We are most definately "soul mates"
My interests are spending time with my wonderful soul mate husband, and my 4 beautiful kids. I love Ohio State football, Go Bucks!!! And my son's midget football, all 3 of my son's youth wrestling, and my only daughter's dance/tumbling routines. I am a bigtime "Sports Mama" LOL!!!

In 2000 my hubby was diagnosed with M.S. Then in 2002 while pregnant with our 4th and final child I awoke one morning with many neuro problems, my MRI then said lesions were found, and it was "consistant with m.s." I put it behind me, because I got better, so I had no problems for 5 years. Until August 2007, I had some neuro problems, but they were different than the ones 5 years prior. My recent MRI, found greater than 9 lesions, (brain) and shows chronic demylinating disease progression.
On December 22, 2006, my older sis was 56 at the time, (I am 36) while Christmas shopping, she collapsed from a massive brain aneurysm. She was put in ICU, but slowly recovered some. She was going to rehab, and communicating, smiling & laughing some. Then on February 9th 2007, it bled out again (it had only been coiled in December) She was once again in "grim condition". When she was stable she was moved to a nursing home, only to have it bleed out again. She then had brain surgery.
My 7 yr. old son has ADHD, it can be very stressful at times. I have struggled for nearly 2 years with the decision to put him on something for it, so first I tried herbs, what a waste of money that was! So I did end up putting him on Straterra. He has been on it for 3 days. It makes me nervous, but I guess he is doing ok so far. He is very intelligent under this disorder. It is just a shame that he has to have it. Not sure if hubby or I have it, our other 3 kids do not.
