I am 28 years old and have a 6 year old son.
I had a mini stroke on Aug 23, 2007. While at the ER I was diagnosed with a 27mm fusiform aneurysm on Aug 24, 2007. One of the largest that the team of neurosurgeons at Shands in Gainsville has ever seen. I have gone to my 1 year follow-up on Aug 28, 2008. Thank goodness that my aneurysm has not changed. It is the exact same size and shape as origionally detected. Our plan is to keep praying it remains the same with no changes.

I had a stroke on Aug 24, 2007. A Ct scan proved that a piece of clot broke free from my fusiform aneurysm and caused the mini stroke. My aneurysm is 27mm. My 1 year follow up proved no change in my aneurysm. It remains the same size and shape. No surgery will be necessary as long as the aneurysm remains the same.
Was quit for about 1 month last year and then began smoking again. I have a new prescription for Chantix and am serious this time about my quit. I will not allow smoking to control my life. I am taking charge. My last cig was on September 20,2008 at 11:00 p.m.
I am 28 and had a mini stroke on Aug 24, 2007. I found out I have an aneurysm and a piece of blood clot broke off and caused numbness in my right arm/hand and face. Thank god the after effects are minimal. I have a little short term memory loss and my reflexes are slightly delayed. 1 year later my body has recooperated back to it's pre stroke state. My strength has returned and my memory and reflexes have improved.
