I've just had the most amazing weekend.  It was my birthday on Saturday and my hubby, Paul, who is the most unromantic man in the world, arranged the most brilliant surprise for me.  He hired my most favourite car, a black Porsche 911 turbo, for the weekend, arranged for the children to stay at relatives houses and booked a hotel for us, and it was truly one of the best birthdays I've had.

The car alone would have done it for me - I just love them, and never thought that I would actually be driving one - the speed is just awsome!!  I didn't want to give it back today!!  I've told Paul now he's spoilt me and will just have to go buy me one - I wish!! 

It was funny when we had to drop the kids off in it - as there is only 2 tiny seats in the back - we had to squash the girls in there, along with their suitcase and a few other bags, etc - you could hardly see them!! and that's when I said 'this is why mummy does not have a Porsche!! - not the most practical family car - oh well, one day - will just have to stick to the MPV at the moment!!

Oh well, he certainly has done me proud this weekend and has shown that he can be romantic, it was in there, somewhere!!  Bless him!!
