Got the kids off to school and got Steve up. I wanted to be early at the hospital so that I could have a cup of coffee first. So we did this and Steve was trying very hard to keep me distracted...lol. When my time came, I had to strip down to my knickers and lay face down on the bed. A needle drip was attached to my arn, headphones put on and I was pushed into the scanner. Music was playing in my ears but I could still hear how noisy the scanner was. It was no hardship to lay still and after 20 mins or so it was finished. Results will be sent to my Doctor so I have to make an appt. with him.

We went for a nice lunch after, then did a little shopping. In the evening we went to friends for dinner and I ate far too much! Hopefully back on the diet tomorrow.

I just want to say thank you for all the messages of hope and support. It really did bouy me up.
