I enjoy intelligent conversation, dining out and the cinema. I like to help people but find it hard to connect over the internet. I'm a good listener and my friends in the UK used to always come to me about their problems. I didn't offer advice unless it was asked for but I provided that listening ear and I cared and they often worked the problems out for themselves. I miss that personal contact. On DS people can misinterpret a remark, can turn a jokey remark into an insult. I sometimes feel I'm walking on eggshells. I love a good discussion or a fun thread but stay away when I know I'm down and susceptible.

Married, two lovely kids. Living in Switzerland which is a great country but I do feel isolated and lonely. I like reading, writing, watching English tv. I have a CKCS dog called Zelda.
