Well, here I am in Maine after a 3 hour drive! They have free wireless internet access here so we brought our computers. It's Victor's weekend so I am going along with anything he wants. The getting ready and the ride were more pleasant than they have been in the past so that was good. He's not sure if he likes where The Kennebunk Inn is located, he thinks he would have rather stayed somewhere more out of the way, you never know until you try it, right? I picked the place, but it's hard to pick somewhere on the internet site unseen, sure the pictures were nice but of course they would put the nice pictures on the internet. It's an old inn, with a claw foot bathtub, which I think is cool. I was expecting something nicer, but for $81.00 a night I might have gotten my hopes up a little. The woman Grace who checked us in was wonderful she told us about the Inn and even walked us to our room! I do wish we had a nicer view, if you look outside the window we have a view of Mobil gas station!

Wish you were around here. I have a beautiful two story historical house in Pacific Grove with a clawfoot tub upstairs. It also has ocean views. It's an award winning Heritage house that I have loved. Unfortunately, it presently comes complete with my husband and his girlfriend, which could be a little uncomfortable....

try not to feel guilty about picking out the place if he doesn't like it...it's okay....it's hard to tell what you're getting until you get there...
if you are like me, hearing him say that he doesn't like the place would make me have knots in my stomach and i would feel guilty for picking a place that didnt' please him.....but, it will be okay...just enjoy the time and try to stay positive and happy...don't let little things rob you of a good time!
