Thought for the day:  Health is not valued until sickness comes.

I am on a mini vacation, yeah! I have tomorrow off (due to not enough work  ) and I had asked for Monday off (Victor's birthday) so I have a 4 day weekend and we are going to Maine tomorrow afternoon for the weekend. I am excited to get away for a few days, but this will be a true test as we haven't spent this much uninterrupted time together in 9 months or so. I am going to do everything I can to have a nice pleasant weekend with no fighting! I have been feeling a little better so that's good, my mood had improved. I'm guessing it's because on am back on my medication.  We are going to stay at The Kennebunk Inn in Kennebunk Maine. That's where he wanted to go and it's his birthday so I just went with it. I got to pick out where we are staying so I hope it is nice.   I am at his place now, he had a side job so he's not here yet but I didn't want to stay at my Aunt's tonight because she does not know I have tomorrow off and she would be planning my day! Victor was suppose to see if he could get out of work early tomorrow so we could head up to Maine before the rush hour traffic, hopefully he can get out early. My Mozart is sitting here next to me watching me type and purring, although when I first got here tonight he actually growled and hissed at me when I tried to pick him up which is so unlike him! I don't know what's going on there! I yelled at him and he ran in the kitchen uder the table but now he's back trying to touch me with his paws. It's so hard to take care of him when I don't live here, I hate it! He's got an appointment at the vet next Thursday so she'll check him out and make sure he's OK.
