On Good Friday God seen fit to call my mother home. At though I had prepared my self for her passing I can truely say that I miss my mommy. She was my friend and I miss her coming to visit me. But I thank God for not allowing her to suffer even though she was only 69 yrs young she will be missed. I am sad but doing better each day. For al those who lost their mother's I feel you sadness and know your pain. Blessings.

It has been sometime since I have been on this site. As some may know in June of 2004 God called my son home and now on 3-21-08 Good Friday God called my mother home. I thank GOd for his mercy cause her dementia was starting to get bad an I paryed that he would spare her from etting to the point where she didn't know her faamily anymore and He showed favor and answered my pray. My heart is heavy but daily joy is replacing the sadness. Blessing to you all who have lost someone special and those who know someone with dementia, had a lost and finding htemselves a little depressed. KNow that God or your higher power will on put on you what he knows you can bear. Here is a strength hug for all of you. Blessings

Hi Royal7, On Friday before Mother's Day of 1977, my Mom went to be with Jesus, too. For me it was the worst day of my life since I was only 24, but, for my Mom, it was the best day of her life! No more suffering from kidney disease and dialysis for her! She was the most precious lady I have ever known. You could say I am prejudice toward her but she was a remarkable woman! I learned a lot from her in those few years. Patience, temperance, peace and especially joy! I think of my Mom this way: She is with Jesus and they are watching over Me and my family to keep us safe and happy!
Oh yes, another little blessing for me. Almost 2 years after my Mom passed, God blessed us with a little boy. He brought life and love back into my heart and I believe my Mom had a big hand in his spirit because he has alot of her personality! God bless you and remember all of the good times with your Mom!
