Journal Entry for September 29, 2007 Mood
Saturday, September 29, 2007
I remember being told I had sever manic depressive disorder. That was in 2002 by the college campus doctor. He also reccomended me to the shrink on campus who said I was depressed, but not severely. I had tried about 5 or six different meds before finding one that worked. Now I can't even remember which one worked. After being depressed for a whole year I figured it must be my environment. So I left my fiance and moved back home. Things were better for a while. Still had my moments of drastic mood swings. Now I'm married with two wonderful children. I wouldn't trade that part of my life for anything. I would trade my husband though. And that kills me to say. I just don't have his support. I tried to quit smoking 2 years ago. His remark to me was "I'll support you but if you start being a b****, I'm going to throw a pack of cigarrettes at you." Now he thinks that if I take my pills I'll just be o.k. When we get into an argument about anything he always says, "Did you take your pills today?" It drives me crazy and I honestly want to just punch him. When I told him that I was severely depressed and wanted the guns out of the house. He said he would just move the key to the safe but was keeping them there. Well, I was putting his socks away the following week and guess what I found right on top. It was as if he was wanting me to do something. We have our good times too. After all, he did give me two beautiful little boys that I wouldn't trade for the world.
