A little late in writing, but praise the Lord-- my doctor's office called the day after my biopsy--NO cancer!!!
is feeling Good
I'm a believer and give God glory & thanks for bringing me through almost 20 years of dealing with bipolar life. He has revealed some very practical ways of coping with this. Next, my family and friends are so important to me! One thing I've learned is to do everything possible to have healthy, open, and peaceful relationships. Since I lost both my parents in my early 30's, I've learned to always let my loved ones know how special they are to me! I'm not married, but would like to be & to have children. For now I'm waiting, traveling, and learning to enjoy my single life now.
I work in Labor & Delivery, so I love babies- one of God's greatest gifts and designs! When I'm not at work, I enjoy almost anything with friends, and anything in nature. I enjoy photography, play softball, guitar, like to waterski, ride my motorcycle, just getting into Creative Memories... too many more to list!

hey.. I hear ya! As for "pets" being good for bloos pressure.... I have a true story. My last hospital admission, I did not have Zac with me and they said I needed to be admitted from ER. My BP was some sinful amount of like 159/115.... they tried to tell me that Zac could not be admitted with me. Well... Long story short, they finally saw the errors of their ways. Zac came to me from home.. we went to the other side of the unit for but yet one more BP check. I will NEVER forget the look on their faces as it read 128/78 !!!!!!!!!!!!! I am glad that you have access to some pure love that only an animal can give.!!!!!
I'm 39 years old, and was diagnosed with bipolar when I was 21. In 18 years, I have learned much about living with bipolar. As with other diseases, it requires a great deal of discipline. I've learned more about this in the past few years. Sleep is sacred to me!!! If I lose a few hours sleep for 3 days in a row, I get hypomanic. So, I protect my sleep, among other things. More of that to share later. Now, I'm an RN & have a balanced life.
