Yay my tree is finally up. It looks great, took awhile as I had to oooo and ahh over the ornaments as I unwrapped them.lol I am such a weinie. Have a pond scum green light bulb with Grinch face on it and that one is Michaels as he is quite proud of being a Grinch. Lots of angels which seems appropriate with all the angels I have met on this site. Santa and a Snowman both with soccer balls on either side of the tree will be having a game soon I believe. My favorite is one I got for my Yorkie it is of course a Yorkie..with wings as he was my angel and now he is one for real.

Michael is now allowed to have his nap, he even helped decorate it this year. I took out the wood ornaments and put them in a baggie for Aisy to take home to decorate their tree with, so she has 16 to start with. Wonder if Blueangel found her tree? Or even if she looked for it I know she was going to PA to shop. Just poking at her.

Am feeling quite good stayed up till after 9 this a.m. then had a 2 hr power nap so feel pretty good. Michael cooked ham and eggs for breadfast then we started the tree. Can't wait till dark as the tree looks ever so much better at nite. Wanted lights around windows but he doesn't want to put holes in the walls, uhuh doesn't want to do it period. Will work on that.lol

I enjoyed reading your note. Isn't it wonderful to just sit near the tree when it gets dark. Its so peaceful. One of the favorite things to do at this time of year.

Nuts, celticcross is right. There is nothing more peaceful than sitting next to the tree at night and just listening. For me, each ornament coming out of the box has a significance and each one gets an "aw" or a "remember when..." I'll have to get another grinch ornament to remind me of you. My house is strung with big ceramic lights all around the eves. It's beautiful! Come and see anytime.
