Tried to sleep the day away today, it was too damned hot for me, in the 30's/90's and that is just not fit for humans! lol Even the dog slept on the tiles as they were cooler for him and he hates cold.
Have a pdo appt on Wed and am hoping this time if I drive an hr to get to it that the office is not closed again! That would just about send me over the edge with the heat. I don't have air in my car so am not looking forward to the trip at all.
Michael pulled off the bottom piece of the chimney today and we don't think that it is legal either, the guy put the proper one from the roof up but not inside the house. Will it ever end with that stupid stove stuff? The right stuff can be as expensive as 90. a ft and we'd need about five ft. Crying would not help but sure sometimes feels like it. Oh well on we go as we must do it right. Then get the inspector out again to make sure it is done right and pay him another 150. for his services. shit!
It is going to be another hot one tomorrow so will probably just lay and veg as it just saps my energy and good mood when it is so hot. And the dog seems to have to go out every fifteen minutes just to irritate me if I'm not laying down.lol But still prefer this to winter.
Going to bed as it is almost 2am and I certainly need my beauty sleep!

We too have had temps in the 30's/90's here but have been lucky enough to have rain on most afternoons that, while some storms have been strong, have broken the humidity & dropped the temps to a more livable range....I too hate the heat.
Don't you have AC in your mobile home? I know we have 3..the bedroom one is ALWAYS on in the summer, at the coldest setting, so we can sleep & then we have one in both the kitchen, which helps when cooking & one in the living room to take care of it & my computer room. Thankfully, since my back surgery & chemo, I do not require the house to be so cold...the kids used to call me a penguin as all AC's were set on the coldest settings & it never got above 63 in the house; now I keep it between 73 & 75 & am quite comfortable...also saves a lot on the electric bill.
Hopefully the heat will taper off soon & it will be better....it sounds like you have 2 really radical seasons up there in Canada...very hot or very cold, without much Spring or Fall...lol.
