Okay boys and girls, I did it, went to casino myself. Had to work up to it but did it. Now that was a good thing, the bad thing is that the slots were possessed by Satan and they took every cent I had in short order. And thats all I want to talk about that.lol
Had company on the weekend and spent about 7 hrs preparing the meal of marinating and skewering veggies and shrimp and ribs, also made a huge potato salad. For dessert was cut up fruit dipped in chocolate. Went well. The couple and their son came out and lord remember what I said about not being able to visit with people who had younger kids? Well he is 9 and was constantly interupting and whining that mom or dad should come play tether ball with him or just being a pain. Now this is a good kid but still has to be constantly entertained or paid attention to. Of course mom and dad had to run and play with him so the visit was a little less of a pleasure than it might have been. But still an okay visit over all.
Was so tired after they left just sat and read and then slept for 9 hrs. and now feel like today is my day off for doing nothing for sure.
The house is at least clean as we did it before company so all that is left is to wash the bedding and all is good.
Had a few drinks last nite and it made me slightly manic but not anywhere near what it used to make me, did offer to let the kid drive my car around town but he said no even after I offered to go with him.LOL Then offered to drive everyone to casino but there were no takers for that either, boy people are just no fun anymore.hahaha

You crack me up lady. Yep little kids gotta be constantly entertained and not by one another for too long or they will accept when the slightly intoxicated offer to lend them the keys, lol. Wow the food sounds great! Tes just made the world's very best salad, mmmmm. My creative cooking moods are rare, thank goodness Tesla loves to cook.
