My PT/INR on Wednesday was 1.8. I'm staying with the same Coumadin dosage of 5mg since I am having dental surgery on Jan. 29th and have to stop my Coumadin for 3 days prior and restart after this surgery same day. I guess so I don't bleed to death. (joking of course) I return for another check up PT/INR on Feb. 4th. The only thing that concerns me is I will be in a sorta twilight sleep on oxygen while the dentist surgeon does his thing. I've been a little congested. I'm thinking of going on an antibiotic beforehand. Guess I should make that phone call to the nurse.
