i fell so fast
i didnt even notice the floor
till it was too late
my face grew close to the cement
the tiles were cold
and so was my body

they surround me
but call my name
can i respond
i blank out
and try to stop

stopping is the only option
that isnt possible
i wanna scream
just wanna be able to stop

i hear a familiar voice
it cant be, can it??
i open my eyes
and he disappears

i look around
in search of anyone
mostly him
but i just find the ceiling

the ceiling has comfort
it is white as heaven
and as calm as the clouds

the doctor comes back
now that i am in a chair
he looks me in my eyes
and looks very sympathetic

i just grab him
and hold him close
he whispers in my ear
"here you go"

i back up
confused and dazed
he hands me a note
a crumpled up letter

i open it up
slowly so i dont
ripe the page

i look back at the doctor
then back at the letter
one line lays there

a simple 8 letter sentence
just what i needed
was right there

he alwasy promised it would be okay
he always gave me hope
and now its final

i take one look back
and smile to reassure the doctor
he smiles back

his turn to be confused
i show him the letter
he looks it over
and laughs

i cant help but smile at him
and laugh myself
he always kept his promises

so here are his final words
the words i will keep dear
right next ti my heart

"I am okay, I will see you later." =]
