I've just heard news from diane regarding msdeb.
MsDeb called Diane to let her know she is out of the hospital after having another stroke. She is back to 'square one' with her physical therapy she has been working so hard with. She cannot be on the computer as it may trigger another stroke but she says she WILL BE BACK!
Diane left a 'hug' on Heartstrings inviting anyone to message her with questions and she will try to answer them. Also, a HUGE lot of gratitude to Diane for the information!
Diane also related that Aunt Barb, "Renwood", is doing about the same with her breathing but also having a lot of fibromyalgia pain.
So, friends, I'm reminded that MsDeb began Heartstrings as a place for us to come for extra support in times of need. We all regulary get and give support to those on our 'Friends' lists; but there are those unfortunate times when our friends are dealing with extraordinary circumstances and we would like to have a place to put the word out for all to send encouragement to them. This is the essence of Heartstrings.
I will try to keep Heartstrings going in this tradition. I encourage you to check the 'Hug Book' and send whatever kind of support you are comfortable to those in need. Prayers, positive energy, special thoughts, hugs, messages, mojo...whatever works for you!
I will also try to regularly post some inspirational or encouraging items on Heartstrings, always with MsDeb's goals in my sights.
With that in mind, I'd like to leave you with an excerpt of an open journal post MsDeb wrote:
Halleluiah, Halleluiah!Today I can walk without falling, and I'm not holding on to the walls as much. My head ache has eased up and I am going to be daring and say "this flare may be going, going, well, not quite gone, but almost"...12 years ago before Fibro/CFIDS, I wouldn't have even thought to be grateful for my balance. I took for granted the ability to speak. I never thought about what I would do if...... When any thoughts like this would enter my head, I would think of it in terms of a horrific accident taking away my ability to walk, talk or even form a thought. Now I know that nothing or noone can be taken for granted. Life can truly change in a moment, and still I really cherish everything that has happened to me. Good and bad. Sometimes when people talk to me they tell me how sorry they are and how hard it must be.....and I am always surprised, because I feel like one of the luckiest people on earth. I have learned things about myself which have taught me patience; I know how to live in the moment, I love more deeply than I've ever loved. I am one lucky person.So, dear friends it means so much that when I'm going through a rough patch, you send good wishes, prayers, and hope that it will end soon. I thank you so much for never giving me pity. You give compassion and encouragement instead, and it always comes when I need it most.

Please send your encouragement to MsDeb, (husband) Walt, and ('Renwood')Aunt Barb during this difficult time for their family.

absolutely wonderful. those are 2 lovely woman Diane and I thank you for continuing on with what MsDeb started and we have wonderful thoughts and of these comming back stronger and healthy than ever. I so adore their spunk, their willingness to get better and never be down no matter what is wrong. I pray every night for both of these lovely woman to be back sooner than we expect and in full.
