I am going through a divorce and see no problems with dating. I know that everyone says that you should be alone, but that day will come. Good luck to you. I know it is difficult on the kids. I have 2.

Oh-I feel your pain. I have stared dating agian. My ex and I have been seperated for over two years. It's only because of legal crap that we are not divorced. He hates my new boyfriend and is sure to tell the kids what a bad guy he is. He also tells them how bad I am cause I am with him and we are not divorced yet. he tells them that Mark doesn't like them at all...and he and I are to blame for "everything." It is total insanity. We have been living seperately for 2.5 years!!!! Just keep being honest with your son...he will come to see the truth eventually. I also NEVER talk badly about the ex in front of my kids. He does about me and my therapist says they will see the truth for themselves eventually.

About 5 years ago I left but moved back because financially I was not ready. We both turned to someone else for support but tried to work things out for our son (4 at the time) and things got better temporarily but I am now older (hopefully wiser) and I am tired of waiting to have the relationship I always hoped for.

- 1st time: Most people didn't understand and focued on the negatives of leaving but this time they seem to understand what I feel.

- Talking to people helps you see what has really been going on and how dumb it has been to wait so long
