    I married my high school sweetheart in January 2006. We've been together for nearly 7 1/2 years. We recently bought a new house to be closer to friends and family. We have a 3 year old toy poodle, Murphy, who is the center of our life right now.

    Interests

    I enjoy shopping, watching movies, working out and listenig to music. But my favorite thing is to be around family and friends!

      Type: Hormonal Disorders

      My husband and I have been TTC since February 2006. For many months, my cycle was really irregular (i.e. bleeding for 3-4 weeks) and I wasn't ovulating. I am finally seeing a Reproductive Endocrinologist. I did 3 cycles of Clomid and ended up developing 4 large cysts on my right ovary. Now I am back on BC to try to dry them out. It's been quite the process!!!

      Treatments

      Artificial Insemination Not Working
      1st IUI 5/08...failed. Maybe will try 2nd IUI in June/July???
      Basal Thermometer Working / Worked
      Helps show ovulation while doing injectables.
      Clomid Not Working
      Dizziness, hot flashes, mood swings
      Crying Working / Worked
      I think this helps you manage your emotions. It's not healthy to keep all of this inside and I think crying is only appropriate when you are dealing with a sense of loss.
      Faith Somewhat Helpful
      Trying to regain my hope and faith that God will make things happen in due time.
      Follistim Working / Worked
      Developed 3-6 good follicles for 5/08 IUI...failed cycle. Will start again in June/July???
      hCG (Human Chorionic Gonadotropin) Working / Worked
      Caused ovulation w/in 24 hours.
      Ovulation Predictor Kit Too Soon to Tell
      Start testing this cycle with the IUI (4/08)

    • Close Wilm's Tumor

      I was diagnosed with Wilm's Tumor on my first birthday. I went through chemotherapy and had a complete nemphrectomy (?). 23 years later...I am healthy (for the most part) and enjoying life.

    • Open Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome (PCOS)

      I don't exactly have PCOS but I do have polycystic ovaries and have been suffering for the past several years. My progesterone levels are low and I'm anovulatory. My periods tend to last 3-4 weeks unless I am on BCP or other hormone therapy.

      Depo-Provera Working / Worked

    • Open Seasonal Affective Disorder

      I don't really have a story...I am pretty straight forward. Sad in the winter & better during the summer.
