I will resume my story at a later point.

 It's noon and I am showered and wearing my jammies.  My cat is on my lap and I have been reading through the postings.  I am playing hooky from school today.  LOL.  I am feeling pretty good, although I finally starting sorting out my parents' things that I brought home at the end of summer.  That was a little rough.  I came across Mom's prayer book and the leftover funeral home notices from my Dad, not to mention two sweaters of his that his sister gave me.  

I have the house to myself as my bf is a work; really weird for a couple in their 40s to refer to each other as boyfriend and girlfriend!  Makes me feel like the 13 year olds I teach every day.
