Vivienne's Journal

Hi everyone, I am finally back and hopefully here to stay (fingers crossed.) I have now finished the babysitting, my son's back is fine and mercifully the tumour was benign. Sadly his wife had to have three operations - including a colostomy and she was in hospital for quite some time.

 Many, many thanks to everyone who kept us in their thoughts and prayers. I returned home having spent a grand total of three nights in my own bed in the last month and then my mother in law had a bad turn and I was off again for Mum sitting! She is a lovely, wonderful caring lady whom I am very proud to be a daughter in law to. I have managed to get her to the dentist for the first time in nearly 50 years to get some new dentures, the dentist was impressed her teeth were older than the dentist! I have suggested that she donates them to a museum as soon as she gets her nice new set. She has agreed to buy some top of the range ones as a treat. She spends very little money on herself so it is about time.

On my health news front I have been diagnosed with Hypothyroidism - that explains the tiredness, the aching joints and the muzziness in my head. I have started treatment and fingers crossed things should be easier. I have started cooking again and that is a good sign.
