I am feeling pretty good today! I know it's too soon to tell if the Tysabri is going to work but, hey - it's a good day so I'll take it. :-)
Now - the bad part. My doggie is sick. Very sick. The vet saw him today and thinks he may have an ear infection but in the last week he has become very lethargic and weak and it's weird but from his ribs back look like it's about half the normal size. It's like he's wasting away but yet he hasn't lost any weight. He has epilepsy so he takes med for that and we knew that eventually it might hurt his liver but if he didn't take it he would have seizures all the time. The vet took blood to see if that is it or he thinks he might have cancer. OHHHHHHHHHNOOOOOOO! He is the absolute best do in the world and I'll be crushed to lose him. He's a member of the family.
The vet said he would call tomorrow with the results.

I'm sorry about your dog. My older pug, Jimmy, is 16. He's the best dog in the world too. He's dying. I swear it will be any day now. I know he's not in pain, but he's just done...it breaks my heart. I'm afraid every morning that he's not going to wake up. Please let me know how you dog's doing, please. -Jen

He actually seems a little better tonight. Has a little more energy and ate a little bit. We will have had him 9 years this Christmas. We found him when I called around to local vets looking for puppies. You know how people will post puppies for sale at the vets? The gal I talked to said that no they didn't have any postings but she had a dog for 3 months that she found all beat up in a ditch and he was really sweet. So I went to meet him and instantly loved him!! But, they had no idea how old he was when we got him. I am guessing at least 2 because he's never grown any more since we have had him. He just has such a puppy face!! People always ask how old our "puppy" is and they can't believe it when we say his age.
His name is Shiloh and I am going to post his photo again. He used to be the picture I had on here before my ugly mug. ;-)
Feisty, What is wrong with your doggie? Is it just old age? I love pets but boy is it hard to think of losing them. I kept telling the kids tonight that we will all just hope the doc calls tomorrow to say it is a really bad inner ear infection and that's all. I hope!!
