Multiple Sclerosis (MS)
Relapsing-remitting MS

Diagnosed on 12-28-06. Went numb on entire left side. Dr.'s thought at first that I had a stroke or blood clot from an ankle injury that I didn't stay off of like they said to do.
Treatments
Rebif (Not Working) I didn't have any relapses on it but my MRI showed new lesions so the doctor is taking me off of it to try Tysabri.
Solumedrol (Working / Worked) It really wiped me out but it did help a lot with my symptoms. I would definetly do it again if I needed it.
Swank Diet (Somewhat Helpful) This is a very difficult diet to stay with. It's very strict!! I follow most of it the best I can.
Symmetrel (Working / Worked) This works better for me than Provigal did.
Tysabri (Working / Worked) I've had 4 infusions so far and all is well. I get really tired and dizzy and cold the day of and part of the following day. I get the occasional headache but I can't say it has anything to do with Tysabri. So far this is much better than giving myself shots 3 days a week!
Wellbutrin (Working / Worked) Helps with the "blues" I get sometimes.
