Okay, Rod Serling! Where the hecks are you? Is it a full moon today/tomorrow? My husband has lost his mind, again. He picked a fight last night because he decided he'd rather go fishing than have date night and instead of saying that he spoke to me like a piece of doo-doo. Instead of pouting I up and left and took myself out on a date. If he thinks I will allow him to treat me this way anylonger and then pout on the couch about it he should think again as my pattern has changed. Too bad his hasn't. The CSU financial aid guy really lost his mind. He informed me it was my fault that he didn't recevie a fax I sent him yesterday to a fax machine that he disclosed is 5ft from his desk because I didn't call to say that I had sent it. What? *scruntching face* When I opened my mouth to respond he hung up. I am not exaggerating. My coworker whatevered me when I informed her (as front desk personell) that I was expecting one specific client and would not be accepting walk-ins (which I don't do reguarly anyway because cleints think picking their nose is a national emergency and it is not - I am by appointment ONLY). She actually pffted me and said, "Whatever" while shaking her head. I just offered, "Wow, happy Friday to you too." When I wanted to say, "Keep treating me with this behavior and see what happens the next time you need a favor.", but I didn't. And THEN she calls another co-worker to tell me that I had a client waiting for bus tickets I failed to leave at the front desk. Okay, I did forget to leave the bus tickets but that is NO REASON for you to behave that way, involve another case worker and treat my customer rudely. I will be addressing the issue with her.
It is weeks and days like this that I want to quit EVERYTHING. Why bother, really?

Well, it took me five days to fully get over the flu bug, but I finally feel better. Thank you for your support …
You know, I'm really happy you took yourself out on date night! And there's a reason I don't speak to our receptionist here...maybe there's a secret receptionist meeting they hold where they determine how to be rude, nasty and not do their jobs so that they can make everyone else's life hell, but in all probability she's just an unhappy person in general. Not that it's your problem if she is just an observation of receptionists I have known over time.
