stupid busy Mood
Wednesday, May 14, 2008 | A Rambling story

ahhh, they are actually getting some dilligent work out of me this week.  they better not get used to it!  *giggle*  it is just tough business telling people you've worked with for sometime now that you are leaving and they can't follow...well, i'm not encouraged to have them follow anyway since i am transition from county to city (funding sources are lil' different).

i'm going to be a busy bee for some time to come...not that the case manager was a poor case manager that i am taking over for at the city location however she was a pack rat.  i ended up spending my day going through papers that were created when God was a child or at least from my junior/high school days.  seriously?  i said, "M, if it has a date older than two years, please let's just throw it away."  and although it was M's last day she replied, "You may need it."  i just smiled and reserved myself to the fact that friday will be my garbage bag it all and haul it outta there day.  that's okay.  it just made my time spent there yesterday sort of counter productive.  really, i don't need to know what the regs were in 1993.  i just don't.  all the poor dead trees....

i may have mentioned a few weeks back about my tooth being achy.  it's worse today.  excedrin is working.  i just can't bring myself to go to the dentist.

more cat issues.  my older cat Mage (as in Magician) was favoring a hind leg a bit and i witnessed him drag his leg behind him going down the steps.  hmmmpf.  not good, right!?  so off to the vet we went yesterday afterwork (i never take my cats to the vet because they are indoor and just healthy lil' ones, so when i do have to take them it feels so damn serious and i always think THE WORST so i was anxious, but not a messy anxious person).  it, at this point, is assumed to be a pulled muscle or tendan.  much like a clingy car that won't cling in the presence of the mechanic he didn't seem to be favoring any leg with the vet.  chalked up to nervous andrenalyn she suggested blood work (since he hasn't been in a while) and 5 days of pain meds before we take on the expense of x-rays.  $153 later, Mage has a clean bill of internal health (liver and what not), one pulled muscle, likely and some drugs.

i have been sticking to my curves plan and eating much more frequently...but i don't touch the scale, not yet.

humm, humm, humm...i think that is it.  i'm too busy!

Oh I tend to have the "just may need it" thing going on! I have to MAKE myself throw things out! Not so much with paperwork though....Glad that cat is okay!! And good for you for sticking to your curves plan!! I tend to avoid the scale myself (it leads me to not eat at all) and try to focus on the noticeable difference in how I feel and how my clothes fit! Yay! Go you!!!

Oh no, no, no, trust me you won't need it, or if you do, it won't end the world that you don't have it. Nobody ever died of inconvenience.
Overall a very funny entry! Looking forward to hearing more.
