TGIF everybody!

I have been stupid busy at work because I was granted the Carnegie position and have one week to wrap things up here and start up back down there. It is lateral but I've now successfully cut my drive time and gas consumption significanlty in the last month and a half.  First taking it down from roughly 70 miles a day (to work and back), to 28 miles a day, and now way down to roughly 6 miles a day.  I have to live and now work inside the city to do it but in the long run it's worth it.  I won't have to let the gas pumps rape me quite as often!

Happy Mom's Day weekend to all you DS moms!

Tonight I'm going out with a friend and her brother to see a VERY old friend's band play.  Another perk to living downtown -- all these places are SO CLOSE to me everyone tends to migrate to my place first.  I like that!

Tomorrow is my mom's mom's day celebration with my sister and I - we are seeing the show Phonk which is like a version of STOMP and then we'll do a late lunch.

Sunday I have to see the MIL (as you are well aware of by my bitching of her harrassment earlier in the week).  Did you know she called us another 3 times that day?  And I'm the crazy one?  Hmmpf.

SO BUMMED the Counting Crowes show a friend and I had tickets for was cancelled.  Ticks me off!  The show wasn't until the end of August for crying out loud!  No rescheduled date.  BUMS!

Oh, oh, oh.  LaTEEda my stimiulous check was deposited today....wonder when Troy's is coming?
