As far as my disease goes, I don't anticipate any news.  I am going today for my semi-annual CT scan, where I don't think there will be any surprises or any changes.  Monday I will see all of my doctors in one fell swoop, which is a change that I like a lot.  I don't haev to go two different directions to see my doctors now, everything I need is in one location and that suits me just fine. 

I have just come back from being with my mother for two weeks.  It was a needed break (mentally, especially) but it had its challenges.  While I was there, some special people passed away unexpectedly.  It was a good thing that I was with Mama.  BUT, while I was with Mama, my husband was elsewhere burying his mother and settling his father in a new living arrangement.  Neither of us had what you would call a true vacation, but we were both where we needed to be.

Sometimes life just jumps up and smacks you in the face.
