I've done 13 wks.
It's very tough on tx. My worst side is fatigue, close second is itch, rash, then loss of appetite.(weight down from 190 to 165.
Got lab results. I'm responding well. ALT AST levels are normal. Viral count went from 8,950,000
 down to 750. Dr is pleased with results and says I can beat this! I'm a stage 2 on my liver  biop, genotype 1a. Asked doc of relapse, he said only 15 to 20 % relapse after full tx. So the odds are good for a full eradication.
Had to stop tx because of rash side effects.
4 days off tx now.

Dermatologist gave me drugs for itch and burning. (hydroxyzine hcl and methyl/prednisolone tablets and a foam for the skin). Drugs are working.
Early Dec I'm getting a flu shot. WIll ask about hep A, B shot if necessary.
I feel sooo much better now!!
The meds are wearing off.
I have a liver dr appt end of Nov to reevaluate my situation.
It means I'll feel good for Thanksgiving Day.
I thank the Lord for this interlude. It means
there is life, post tx, for me.
That is it for now.
I find going slow, not hastily about what to do next is good for me.
I'm enjoying life for now. Luncheon with my brothers yesterday was great fun. They love their martinis, beer and wine. I had my ginger ale. Good food, good company. LIFE IS GOOD.
My wife and coach is great.
She says wait, I wait. She dosent let me get ahead of myself worrying about what hasen't happened.
