After 17 years of trying, 38 weeks of pregnancy, and 17 months of being a mama, I finally heard the word! The twins have been vocalizing since 10 months, but they only have isolated words. Of course, Dada was one of the first, I've been hearing that for 4 months. But yesterday, my little girl looked at me and said, "Mama". If a heart could explode from joy, that would be the moment! Direct eye contact and "Mama" whoda thought it could ever happen for me?
