    About Me

I am a healthcare diagnosatics specialist professionally. I am married to a man, Ray, who has a bad case of gout, diagnosed only a year ago. I scour the internet along with all the medical professionals I come in contact with during the course of my job. I am always looking for new ways to control gout pain and symptoms without the liver debilitating drugs that are widely prescribed. Those drugs can cause more problems than the original gout symptoms and they all have severe side effects (read the labels and check out the internet on how bad they are for you) I have found a non-drug alternative that works on everything from gout, depression, digestive disorders and seriously bad diseases. It has none of the side effects that drugs do and it won't kill you like some drugs can. I personally have 49 people to date who I have suggested they try this alterantive and 47 of them got relief from it. The other 2 could not handle any fruit in their diets and caused gastric distress much like the drugs for gout do! If a fruit juice can ease the pain of gout, why would anyone take these horrible meds?

Hi, my name is Karin and you responded to my post about H.Pylori. Thank you so much for the info that you gave me. Yes, I was diagnosed with having the H.Pylori bacteria after having an upper endoscopy. I was diagnosed with gastritis and was told that I had a preulcer condition. My doctor decided that it would be beneficial for me to take antibiotics to try to eradicate the bacteria. Thus, I am currently on antibiotics (the Prevpac) for 10 days. I have 5 days left to complete the treatment and am tolerating it well. I am hoping that the antibiotics will eradicate the bacteria, however, after everything I have read about eradication, I have my doubts since the reinfection rate is quite high. I have also read that the bacteria can actually live in dental plaque. So if i do eradicate the bacteria, what are the chances of getting reinfected when I have my teeth cleaned?? (The idea of that scares me...). Also, if the antibiotics don't work and I can't eradicate the h.pylori, can i at least monitor the gastritis to make certain that I don't end up with a more serious condition....like an ulcer or gastric cancer?? As for veggies & fruits...well, that is usually my staple diet. However, since I've been on the antibiotics, both have bothered me, so I've been eating very bland foods (turkey/chicken sandwich, oatmeal, soups, etc). I also tend to drink the Naked fruit smoothies, but have noticed that they too bother my stomach. Do you think I should try to eat these foods anyway, or wait until my stomach can tolerate them again?? Again, thank you so very much for your post. I can't tell you how much it meant to me. And by the way, my boyfriend has had bouts with gout so severe that he has ended up in the emergency. However, in the last year or so he has been doing well. I will talk to him to see if he has any info he can give to your husband. In the meantime, I hope you are both doing well. Karin

My husband has excrutiating pain from gout and I had been searching for non medicine relief when I came across mangosteen juice.

      Treatments

      Allopurinol Somewhat Helpful
      makes him very sick
      Cherries Not Working
      Mangosteen Juice Working / Worked
My husband tried mangosteen juice (Xango) and it relieved the pain within two days. He finished the loaned bottle in 3 days and the pain came back. We begged a eighbor to loan us another bottle, and guess what? The pain went away again. He was very skeptical but it proved to him that it worked. We were so convinced that we started distributing the juice at out cost to others with gout issues. We now have about a dozen on the juice and all but one has gotten relief to varying degrees.
    • Open Peptic Ulcers

I am a diagnostics specialist in hospitals. I train clinicians to diagnose h. pylori bacteria in ulcer patients -h. pylori is the cause of most ulcers. Not many people know that there is a non drug alternative to antibiotics that are prescribed. Some people cannot tolerate the antibiotics they prescribe & some just don't want to take more for whatever reason. Mangosteen juice is a natural alternative that has been proven in pub med research documents to help eradicate h. pylori bacteria.

      Treatments

      Mangosteen Juice Working / Worked
I have seen many people with various stomach conditions benefit greatly by drinking small daily doses of mangosteen juice. You can get lots of great info from doing a pub med search, keyword mangosteen fruit.
    • Open Breast Cancer

My daughter was diagnosed with breast cancer in Sept 07. She had a positive biopsy and MRI. While fighting her insurance company for more aggressive therapy, she started drinking mangosteen juice called Xango. I sent it to her becuase of a recent study showing that this food inhibits the proliferation of these bad cells. you can find this paper in the pubmed site with key words breast cancer and mangostana garcinia.
