Close Hearing Loss & Deafness
Type: Sensorineural (Severe)I have been Dx: with both severe conductive and sensorineural loss in both ears it was first noticed about 13 years ago that I had some mild hearing loss in my right ear, and left ear was fine did not need hearing aids @ that time. 2 years ago I was told that i had moderate loss with some nerve loss in right ear. was given an hearing aid which only worked for a year. when tested a few weeks ago I have to wear hearing aids in both ears for severe mixed loss.
Treatments
- Hearing Aids Not Working
- my last aid seemed as if it were not working @ all had to keep checking to see if it ws on or not
- Sign Language Considering
- still learning asl do not know many deaf people tend to shy away from all people (my lonely world)

in the first stages of going for a gastric bypass my BMI is 41 right now. I am 5'5" My back , hips knees and ankles hurt so very much.
Treatments
- Dietitian Consult Working / Worked
- I to see dietitation for 6 months I am now into my 3rd month as of oct 31st.
