I'm a registered nurse and absolutely love my job. Divocred for 5 years but am in a non conventional relationship. All together we have 6 childern. I have been on the depression rollercoaster for as long as I can remember. It's a painful disease. Came to Daily Strength for support and the big reminder that "I am not alone."

I have been struggling with major depression for as long as I can remember (14 years diagnosed) Depression runs in my family. My grandfather and mother both committed suicide. I have had changes in my medications which have helped tredmondously. Have slacked on the psychotherapy and my journaling.
I'm a proud mommy of 3 year old Emma. She is a later baby for me. My 2 other daughters are 20 and 18.
I am also a proud "step" mommy to 5 year old Austyn and her 7 year old brother Jeffrey.
I had migraines a lot when I was in the military. These I found out were stress induced. I went years without having one then started having them again this time I was pregnant. So now I'm thinking they are being triggered by hormones and stress. ACK!
My dad was recently diagnosed with neuroendricrine tumors in his liver. He was also told it was carcinoid syndrome.
Definitely have this in addition to my depressive disorder.
